1. Live Jazz Music
2. Visiting Jack London Square
Not gonna lie, it felt like 0 degrees Celsius, but it was a nice change in environment for the day.
3. Views of West Oakland Pier
4. Free Ice Cream
It was pure luck that Ben & Jerry’s happened to host a free ice cream event in Jack London Square that Sunday. The ice cream company had teamed up with Tesla to promote action against Global Warming. Tesla is supporting Ben & Jerry’s Save Our Swirled Tour in their movement to spread the word about solutions to climate change!
They served delicious ice cream from their truck and collected signatures “urging for 100% clean energy by 2050”. So free ice cream to save the earth? Count me in!
5. Short Walks Along SF Bay Trail
The trail was probably longer, but my siblings and I didn’t realize that. Either way, it was really scenic and nice to talk a stroll along!

6. Photogenic Flowers
Wow, Oakland’s urban landscape puts my garden to shame. There were flowers along the SF Bay Trail and nicely planted along the pier. I dug it.

7. Fat Pigeons
8. Strange-Yet-Cool Structures
Oakland is a wonderful (though freezing) city! I definitely hope to explore more other parts of it. For more than an hour.
